Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Our cute little house has everything you need for a perfect stay. The bedroom and ensuite can be found on the ground floor, with a generous kingsize bed or 2 singles (as your prefer). We have opted for the Scandinavian method of two separate duvets, studies show this aids a good nights sleep, but is also perfect if you are two friends sharing. The ensuite has a walk-in shower, a handbasin with 2 large drawers, a loo and a urinal. Upstairs is totally open plan, a fully equipped kitchen, a big comfy sofa, a smart tv (please remember to logout if you use your Netflix account or similar). When we stay, we try not to work, however sometimes needs must, therefore we created a designated space on the mezzanine floor with a full size desk to do just that. It has the added bonus of a second loo & handbasin attached. The sofa is also a sofa bed, you will find bedding stored in the chaise lounge part of the sofa. This is ideal if you are two friends sharing, but prefer your own space. The loo on the mezzanine floor, essentially means you just share the shower space. From the open plan kitchen, sitting room you walk out onto a totally private roof terrace. Outdoor furniture adds to the simplicity of this lovely outdoor space. You'll find a plancher grill for cooking alfresco. The staircase from the roof terrace leads you down to the secure garage, this houses a full size washing machine, an airer and clothes rail (great for hanging outdoor clothing, bike jackets etc). There is also a bicycle rack for 2 or 3 bicycles and plenty of space for two motorbikes. The key to the garage will be found on the breakfast bar in the kitchen.

Welcome to the Hideaway. We've tried really hard to create a relaxed peaceful space for you to enjoy as much as we do. We both love being outdoors and Nebias gives us that opportunity. Our passions include walking, cycling, motorbiking, photography, yoga, good veggie / vegan food and very good wines. It made perfect sense for us to buy this cute little house and even more sense to share it, so you get to enjoy it too. You will have complete privacy during your stay, but please know that we are available via messaging or email and we will ensure you have our contact details on arrival. Ours phones are never far away, so one of us will always respond.

The Hideaway can be found in the beautiful French village of Nébias. The village is the home of the famous natural Labyrinth Vert with its numerous walking paths. It is truly a magical way to immerse yourself in nature. Situated on the plateau between Puivert and Quillan in the high Pyrenees of the Aude, both village and town respectively are just ten minutes away. While both offer good restaurants, independent shops, weekly markets and swimming lakes, Puivert sets itself apart by having its very own craft beer bar (BDQ). As well as excellent beer, the BDQ also serves up very good food and hosts live music, it is 6 minutes by car from our place! The surrounding countryside is stunning with great access to the mountains, the Cathar castles and the Corbiere wine region. Nebias also has its very own bistro and a little shop selling local produce. For those that favour freshly baked croissants and freshly baked bread for breakfast, you'll need to pop in the day before to place your order.
