"Kooch" is the Persian term for "nomads' odyssey". It is a magnificent 125 m² apartment on the first floor of an old mansion that we renovated with passion and dedication to bring it to life while improving its energy efficiency. . You can appreciate the charm of the old, with its moldings, its marble chimneys and a 3.5 meter ceiling height, while enjoying modern comfort. . There are 3 private suites, with private bathrooms, offices and armchair. Each suite also has a fridge and a cupboard at its disposal in the common kitchen during the length of stay. . Do not hesitate to ask your questions.
We are two traveler-architects who have woven our passion for exploration, continuous learning and design into the essence of The Kooch House. This historical gem has been transformed by our hands into a sanctuary where we would like to welcome and know fellow travellers and their journeys. Beyond a mere stay, The Kooch House embodies a voyage – a testament to our shared love for beauty, discovery, art and culture.
The Kooch House is located on the historical boulevard that connects Lille to Tourcoing. The tramway station is at our doorstep and the metro (Carlier, line 2) is within 5 minutes walk. There are several pedestrian natural promenades around the house where you can walk or run. The house is very well connected to all train stations : Lille Europe and Lille Flandre (20 min by tramway or metro) Gare de Tourcoing (10 min by tramway or metro, 15min walk) Guests can ask for a private parking.
