The Tower is set in the gardens of the owner's house with beautiful views from the Juliet balcony of the mezzanine style bedroom Fench doors. Being nestled in the 'Perigord natural park' on the Haute Vienne and Dordogne border there are places to visit every day within easy driving distances on quiet and picturesque roads. An ideal location for walkers and wildlife lovers as there's no need to drive to a walking spot - they're right on the doorstep! Lots of great restaurants are close to hand with supermarket, boulangeries and Tabac all available in the local Village of Saint Mathieu. The Tower has a fully fitted kitchen with Cooker, Micro-Wave, fridge/freezer, Toaster and Electric kettle all making self-catering easy should you wish to. Off the kitchen is a comfortable Lounge with Integrated DVD/Television which receives all the normal U.K stations. Stairs lead to a mezzanine style bedroom with French doors overlooking the woodlands and pastures beyond. The shower room is everything you'd wish for, with powerful shower, W.C and basin. All towels & hairdryer provided.

I have recently moved to France permanently after being a frequent visitor to the area. I am always on hand for suggestions for days out, restaurants, markets and special festive days that occur throughout the year. Other things to note Only a 40-45 minute drive from Limoges airport which is serviced by Ryanair getting here is easy. I will send full PDF directions from the airport and from Calais should you be driving down. Be aware though that being in the South-West of France it's a good 7-hour drive from Calais without traffic.
