Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located in the grounds of our home under mature pine trees. Guests have a separate indoor/outdoor kitchen and bathroom, used only by the clients of the yurt. The shared swimming pool is in the garden which our guests have access to during the day. The grounds and shared pool are private and not overlooked by neighbours. We have vineyards and agriculture around us. The idyllic location is very quiet and peaceful with plenty of wildlife and birds. Location is near to the canal du midi and the canal de la Robine. There are several cycle routes from here and many places to walk or run. The centre of the village is a 20 minute casual stroll along the canal. The yurt has a 140x200 bed, with linen provided. Your kitchen is fully equipped, and we provide a gas bar be cue, with gas so that our guests can enjoy cooking outside on their private terrace. Parking is available off the road and bicycle stand is provided for guests with bikes. We provide all towels, including separate pool towels.

I live here with my fiance Brian. We have moved to this part of France due to our love of the area. I used to work on the canal du midi when I was younger and enjoy the tranquility of the location. I enjoy spending time in the garden and love how many different species of birds we get here. We also have red squirrels who can often be seen taking a drink from the bird bath. The walking and cycling here is fantastic, much of it along the canals and through the vineyards. I enjoy having the mediterranean coastline 25 minutes away with miles of beautiful beaches. We want our guests to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet uninterrupted, to relax and unwind.

We are located next to the Amphoralis museum, which is Roman archaeological site and pottery museum. This is a very peaceful location, it is a 20 minute stroll into the village centre, with 3 restaurants, a friendly bar, 2 boulangeries, tabac, and chemist. There is also a very good supermarket 10 minute walk from the Yurt. The beautiful city of Narbonne is a 20 minute drive, with it’s wonderful Les Halles indoor market, cathedral and numerous restaurants. Many other small villages nearby with weekly markets and restaurants. The Mediterranean coastline is a 25 minute drive away with miles of beautiful beaches and numerous wonderful seafood and fish restaurants. The medieval city of Carcassonne is 50 minutes away and is very much worth a visit.
