Trecastle is a large and welcoming town house in Chálus. It has three recently renovated bedrooms, all tastefully decorated to make you feel at home. On the border of the Haute-Vienne and Dordogne and on the main tourist route from Paris to Toulouse, Trecastle is the ideal base for exploring the region. Chálus is a lively and historic town, perfectly situated for exploring all that is on offer, and we are a 5-minute walk from the town centre, the Voie Verte cycle path and the two Châteaux of Chálus. The main castle is where the English king Richard the Lionheart was killed. It can be seen from Trecastle, as it lies on the Route Richard Cœur de Lion, a famous route that traces King Richard's campaign in the 12th century and links other historic places.

We're Anna and Pete from Devon in the South West of the UK. We emigrated to France in early 2024 after falling in love with the country many years ago. We love motorbikes and used to organise motorcycle tours whilst working full time in the construction industry. Le Mans Moto GP was one of our favourites, and we regularly organised week-long tours for 9 or 10 people to watch the races and explore the area. A Chambre d'Hotes (B&B) is something we enjoy. We like meeting different people, hearing their stories and getting to know them. Strangers are only friends you haven't met yet.
