We shall always be there to welcome you personally at your arrival. We will have a lot to share with readers, fans of travels, photography, Nature and Arts. We hope to make you discover with pleasure a bit of the past of our so-called town "Craddle of the Iron" and give you some taste for the "Three Borders Land", openned on Europe from the Roman antique time.

Property info

Our big family house was built around 1930 in the typical style of the Fensch Valley. Hillside situated, it offers the perfect view over the markers of the local landscape, from the former furnaces to Mary's statue opposite side of the valley. This industrial past is preserved by the warm "Art Deco" atmosphere we tried to revival. The whole 2nd floor is dedicated to 4 comfortable thematic bedrooms ( 2 with their own sink and mirror ), a shared entirely redone bathroom and separated toilets. Visitors are also the most welcome in the walled garden, the living room and of course the dining room where are served each morning yummy breakfasts.

Neighborhood info

You will be able to enjoy a morning jogging in the parks of the castles of former "Forges' Masters" and woods are never too far away. You will be surprised of the calm of the place, for a downtown house, only one minute from the expressway and 10 minutes to the Luxemburg border ! On the spot you can visit the Iron Mines Museum or swim in a special inox swimming pool. You reach Thionville in 15 mn, the Spa town of Amnéville with its impressive zoo in 30 mn as well as the towns of Metz or Luxemburg-City. In a 1 hour drive you are at Nancy, Arlon (B), Saarbrücken or Trier ( D).
