Champagne Mouton is a popular tourist area for people seeking the tranquillity of the beautiful Charente countryside and wishing to enjoy the rivers and lakes with their water sport activities. Locally we have to Velo rail, very popular with the children and also 'les valle de singhes' Monkey Valley always a great day out... The cities of Poitiers, Cognac and Limoges are within a one hour drive and are steeped in history and they all have many opportunties for shopping or trying the local delicacies...there are airports with economy flights to the UK and TGV lines for easy and fast rail travel. The closest ports are Dieppe and Le Havre, approximately 4 hours driving distance and, further away, Calais and Boulougne which are around 6 hours.
