The house sleeps four in two bedrooms - Master with King-size bed and a twin room with two single beds. Good size modern kitchen with small breakfast bar. Dual aspect living/dining area with views overlooking the town. Family bathroom with bath (shower over). Steps from off road parking area. Terrace surrounding three sides of the property with steps to a pleasant decked area and summer house with views across to Snapes Point. 2 Rockmount is ideal for a couple or family to explore the area. Please be aware there are approximately 60 steps to the property entrance from the parking area through scenic gardens (or 20 steps down from rear gate). There is a steep incline to parking area in front of the garage. EV charger (7kW): an additional charge will apply payable directly to the owner; details will be provided prior to your holiday. Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
