Danes Cottage is perfect for an adult city break with a strict no pets allowed policy. Children over 8 years of age only. The Cottage is laid out over 3 floors and has been beautifully and sympathetically renovated throughout to make it comfortable and provide a stylish base from where you can explore the delights of Lincoln. A new quirky fully-fitted kitchen and a quality bathroom with walk in shower. There is a choice of 2 relaxing bedrooms, one with a king sized bed on the first floor with the bathroom and the other with twin beds on the top floor. Both with views over the city and onto Bomber Command beyond. The lounge has been tastefully furnished for style and comfort, where you can sit and relax after you return from exploring the delights Lincoln has to offer. It has an ultra HD Smart Television, with a range of apps that you are able to log into from your own accounts. Leading out from the lounge you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sunny south facing patio, perfect for that morning coffee or alfresco dining. A stroll down the lawned garden and flower beds, you can sit at the bottom of the garden and enjoy the fabulous views of Lincoln Cathedral.
I have lived in Lincoln since 1998 and bought the cottage when we came across it because of its amazing position in the historic area of the City which we love. We have been successfully running 4 Danes Cottages as a Holiday Let since Oct 2021 and so pleased to have been getting rave reviews.
Our beautifully restored Grade II listed cottage lies in the heart of historic Lincoln. Step out and you are on one of Lincolns prettiest cobbled streets, just off the historic Steep Hill with its eclectic shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. No4 Danes Cottage offers the perfect location to explore our historic and vibrant City. You can relax in our cosy cottage dating back to 1790 with a sunny, south facing patio and garden with spectacular views over Lincoln and the magnificent Cathedral.
