Sue & Jeff purchased Albert House in October 2020 with the intention of offering luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. Sue has spent most of her working life renovating houses. She has lived in Canada and Australia and travelled extensively. Sue's son is a three time World Speedway Champion. Jeff has been involved in snooker all of his life. Firstly as a professional player for twelve years and also as a snooker club owner for twenty years. together they have been involved one way or another in the hospitality industry for most of there life's and now want to bring this experience into this new venture.

Albert House is a large Victorian Grade 2 listed building in the centre of Brigg. Built in 1857 the large spacious rooms offer comfort and a retreat for the tired traveller. Rooms are decorated in keeping with the period and also offer modern essentials such as Wi-F, TV, hair dryer, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board . At Albert House our guests comfort and needs are our priority. We believe that it is essential that you leave satisfied each morning after a hearty full English breakfast which includes a selection of cereals, juices, Yogurts and preserves. The full breakfast offers Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-Free options which are prepared in separate utensils. We are committed to ensuring that everyone is happy knowing that we care about their individual needs. Our comfortable dining room affords ample space for individuals and groups and is ideal for functions and parties.

The town centre of Brigg is a one minute stroll from Albert House. The beautiful shopping area is lined with traditional village type shops, cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and old fashioned public houses. You will find everything from traditional country clothing, to modern jewellery, arts and crafts, antique shops and delicious cake shops. Walk through the little lanes to discover what local artists have created. Take a longer walk along the banks of the river Ancholme or enjoy a drink or a meal in one of Brigg’s many traditional inns. Regular festivals and outdoor events are held in the attractive pedestrianised main street. You can contact our local tourist office to enquire about upcoming events. Visit the local market every Thursday for fresh produce and homeware. If you are in town on the 4th Saturday of the month then you will be thrilled to explore the local farmers market. A mouth watering array of Lincolnshire produce is on display. Sample the local fresh cheeses, breads, ciders, cakes, pies and you will definitely be tempted to take samples home. The Cathedral city of Lincoln is a 35 minute drive, Hull is a 20 minute drive and Humberside airport an 11 minute drive.
