We overlook a beautiful park, namely Central Park and we also overlook the small golf course that is in this park. We are in walking distance to the Life Centre where there is an indoor heated swimming pool. This is where the Olympic medallist diver, Tom Daley use to do all his training. There is a Wetherspoons less than 10 minutes walk if tired after a long journey. The University and City Centre are only 15/20 mins walk in the opposite direction, where there is also a Theatre in the City Centre, at Royal Parade. Most buses go into Royal Parade from Alma Road. Also the train station is only ten minute walk. There is a regular bus service going into the City Centre. Barbican and the famous 'Hoe' and ferry ports can be reached by car within 15 minutes from the Guest House and we are only the same distance to the bridge into Cornwall. We are situated on the main route from Plymouth into Cornwall on the A386. The famous explorer, Scott of the Antartic was born very close to where the Wetherspoons is situated. We have unrestricted parking on side road and a drive in front which can accommodate three cars on a first come, first served basis.
