An exemplary Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of the glorious South Downs National Park. We offer a friendly and informal home for your stay with magnificent views of the beautiful English countryside. The entire house has been recently renovated so is in top-notch order!
We offer tea and coffee in the rooms as well as a cuppa and home made brownie or flapjack on arrival.
The toiletries we use are from an organic sheep farm in Kent so they all include lanolin and are of the highest quality.
The B and B has been running for a couple of years but only to word of mouth guests so we are just starting to expand.
We have our own vine and plan to make wine from the grapes this year, we have home grown fruit, when in season and a very lovely garden overlooking my neighbours very lovely garden! Two for one! If you like views and gardens you will enjoy your stay.
The property is near to so many attractions many of which are listed.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to Appletrees and hearing about your travels. Where you have been and what your plans are. Your stories always interest me. I have a cockapoo called Saffi who will give you a very warm welcome as will I. My elderly cat, Jess, will remain in the background. I have been spending lots of time at West Dean College taking an Art foundation course, my efforts are very amateur but I have really loved the process of learning many new skills. My garden is another hobby of mine and is developing slowly, definitely work in progress!
