In the heart of the Western Lake District, this family-run hotel with sea views has an on-site ice cream parlour, coffee shop and gym. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, the hotel is 50 metres from the beach. The refurbished rooms at Bailey Ground Hotel are stylishly furnished and have private bathrooms. All rooms have a TV, free telephone calls and tea and coffee facilities, and some have wonderful views across the Irish Sea. The Bailey Ground restaurant serves delicious homemade food, including continental breakfasts and traditional cream teas. The hotel also has a farm, providing fresh dairy products for the coffee shop and restaurant. Bailey Ground has a compact fitness room for guests' use. Situated in the quaint coastal town of Seascale, Bailey Ground is a 30-minute drive from the Port of Whitehaven. Seascale Golf Club is just half a mile away, and the local area offers walking, cycling, rock climbing and abseiling.
