Ballacowell is on the outskirts of the village of Sulby. It is within a short walk of Sulby village with its local hotel/pub, shop/post office, church and school and yet it is surrounded by fields with views up the Tholt-y-Will valley. Ballacowell is also a smallholding with sheep, pigs and horses.

Ballacowell is run by me, Maj Bedey, and maintained by my partner Christopher who has a small engineering business on site.

I love living in Sulby, to me it has most of what we need. We can eat out at the Sulby Glen Hotel, which is within walking distance or drive to the Guardhouse in Jurby. We can buy most things at Caleys village store. Its amazing what he has in store. I can also walk to our local primary school, Sulby School. I enjoy visiting the Wildlife Park, just down the road, where the children can play on the bouncy cushion, ride on the train, see the animals and do many other things to keep them entertained on family days.
