Our location is scenic,quiet,and lots of space for safe parking.Belfast being only 25 mins from Barnwell Farm Cottages we are well placed for touring,and exploring local interesting places.We are only 20mins from one of the celebrated "Game of Thrones "film locations near Strangford. Five minutes will take you to the world famous Mount Stewart Gardens.
We have our own Farm Trails. The trails around our 100 acre farm have a special viewing platform where looking East you can see Mull of Galloway,in Scotland,Isle of man is clear to be seen together with the Mourne Mountains and to the North the Antrim plateau is clearly visible.Our Badger and Bird Hides on the trails give our guests a chance to see nature up close.
Nearest sandy beaches 5 minutes from our cottages. Nearest 18 hole golf course 15 minutes. Restaurants 5 minutes. Cycle tours 5 minutes. Strangford lough canoe trails 5 minutes.
