Basil’s is a very cool, comfortable and funky converted chapel close to the excellent Fox Inn. Guests have a large bedroom, private shower room, full use of spacious sitting room, fully equipped kitchen with own fridge, winter sun room and front and rear terraces. Furniture, linens and all equipment is of high quality
I’m a retired fashion agent, love travelling, mad about gardening, classic cars, art, architecture, converting and restoring interesting buildings, cooking, beer and wine….and Suffolk! I converted Basil’s Bolthole as a labour of love. I’m not there as often as I’d like to be but really hope my guests will enjoy the place as much as I do when I am!
Darsham is a great little village, close to the stunning Heritage coast, fab pubs including the nearby Fox Inn, interesting places to visit, hotspots like Aldeburgh and Southwold and well-equipped towns such as Framlingham and Saxmundham; gorgeous easy walking on heathland and beaches, fantastic birding. Darsham station 0.5 miles away.
