Bay Cottage has wonderful views of Lough Neagh, the largest lake in the UK. Our guest rooms face the lough and there are binoculars for those wishing to look at the birdlife and wildlife. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, TVs, hospitality trays, clock/radios. Our guests have use of a large sitting room which has a large selection of tourist information, board games and jigsaws as well as a TV and a DVD player.
I had a mid-life crisis and left a desk job and opened the B&B as I enjoy meeting people, like cooking and love talking about the beauties of Northern Ireland.
This area is a great place to base yourself while exploring Northern Ireland. If you want local things to do then there is the Antrim Forum which has swimming pools, ten pin bowling and a Spa. There are other Spas in the area. For small children there is Clementstown Fun Farm, for the whole family there is World of Owls or paint balling at Shanes Castle or go kart racing at Doagh. We are only 30 mins drive from Belfast.
