Wenhaston is a pretty village that sits close to Southwold's sandy beaches and is within easy reach of Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Snape, making it an ideal base for exploring Suffolk's stunning Heritage Coast. Southwold is just 6.5 miles away, RSPB Minsmere 8 miles, the market town of Halesworth 3 miles, and Aldeburgh 15.5 miles. The village café and post office are both located in the Village Hall, with the café open on Saturday mornings serving delicious cakes along with tea and coffee. For a proper meal out, The Star Inn is a cosy village pub set in the rolling Suffolk countryside, serving good home-cooked food made with local produce where possible. The pub is popular with walkers and cyclists, and hosts beer festivals in its large lawned garden over the late May and August bank holiday weekends. If you venture just a short walk away, you'll find the Blyford Queens Head nearby, or head to Halesworth to discover the Black Dog Café and Deli.
