You will be staying in the self-contained farmhouse annex with views over our fields. Please note that we are a working farm. There will be dogs barking, cows mooing & tractors driving in and out of the yard.
Welcome to Blaengwen Farm! Doris and Richard are pleased to welcome you on our organic regenerative stock farm in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside. We have about 40 cows and 150 sheep. We love meeting people from all walks of life. Richard is passionate about regenerative farming which involves sequestering carbon in the soil. He loves taking people for farm walks to share his knowledge. Doris is a retired academic interested in all things cultural. You will find lots of books in the annex.
We are at the edge of Brechfa Forest with paths for walking and mountain biking. We are 15 minutes' drive from Skanda Vale, 15 minutes' drive from Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Centre, 20 minutes from Carmarthen, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the Carmarthenshire Museum. The coast is 35 minutes' drive away, with Llangrannog beach being the closest.
