The vista at Boyce Fen Farm Retreat is one of endless skies and fields that stretch for miles. With our own private lake on-site, you are guaranteed a front-row seat to the most soul-stirring views of the Norfolk countryside. Nature provides the theatre here. You might spend hours watching the ducks frolic on the water, listening to the low, melodic song of our pedigree Limousin cattle, or waving "good morning" to the rather judgemental sheep (and their lambs) in our neighbour’s field. Our shepherd huts, Silver Springs and Gold Dust, were birthed in 2023 and crafted to the highest standards of rustic luxury. Each hut serves as a "tiny home" sanctuary, featuring a Howden’s kitchenette complete with a Butler sink, double gas hob, and all the modern alchemy required for a feast. The washroom is a nod to Victorian elegance, boasting a high-level cistern WC and a walk-in shower that rivals any spa. Within the living area, you’ll find a sumptuous King-size bed for dreaming and a versatile daybed that transforms into a second King-size nest. Outside, your private garden awaits—a space for al fresco dining and starlit conversations around the glow of your own firepit and BBQ. Guests are invited to wander the entirety of the retreat field; there is "bags of room" for walking, playing, and simply being. However, the farmyard and the cattle fields are sacred spaces for our animals. We maintain a strict no-entry policy for unaccompanied guests in these areas for your safety. We ask that you keep a respectful distance from the cattle fences and refrain from feeding any of the animals without a prior "nod" from the management. The Golding family have been local farmers for generations and Chris took over the family business in 2012, supplying the most sumptuous beef to Sargeants butchers in Stow Bridge. Chris has been an avid fisherman since childhood and, finally, has the chance to realise his dream of owning his own carp fishing lake which he is excited to share with other anglers. We realise how lucky we are to live in such idyllic surroundings and are so happy to be able to share our little slice of the countryside with you.

Located on the Norfolk, Cambridgeshire border, Approx 45 minutes from Sandringham and the Norfolk coast, 1 hour from historic Cambridge and situated within 30 mins from the market towns of Wisbech, Downham Market and Kings Lynn. The Local Village is 1.5 miles away and boasts a fantastic restaurant and bar at the Crown Lodge Hotel, a great old school village pub (The Crown) 2 takeaway Kebab shops, 2 Fish and Chip shops, 4 convenience stores and a mini supermarket. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area, an archery range, a swimming pool, a bowling alley and several well equipped parks in the surrounding villages.
