Braunston Manor Cottage is a modernised 17th century cottage that is situated within the grounds of Braunston Manor in the picturesque village of Braunston, located in the English Midlands near to many tourist attractions. It is a detached two storey stone property, with a kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor and two double bedrooms, both with four-poster beds and ensuites, on the first floor. Outside the property is a private garden, together with a patio area with an outside dining table and bbq, perfect for drinks and meals on a warm evening.

We have been lucky to have lived in the historic 17th century Braunston Manor for over 12 years now and during that time we have been gradually restoring the property, finally tackling the cottage in the past couple of years. We live on site and so we are always happy to try to help with any questions that you may have on the house, or area, or to just leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday and the beautiful surroundings. We have a very friendly Golden Retriever (Bentley) and as the external areas of the cottage are not fenced, it is likely that he will want to come and say hello, in hope of a fuss or a treat....

Braunston lies at the junction of the Grand Union and Oxford canals and as such has historically been one of the busiest sections of the British canal network. It hosts many interesting historic canal buildings and associated infrastructure all within easy walking distance. These include canal side pubs, a marina, various flights of locks, shops, a canal boat serving breakfast and various boatyards. Braunston manor cottage is on the edge of the village, within easy flat walking to the village pubs, shops and the tea room etc. Braunston is conveniently located on the boundary of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire with the historic towns of Warwick, Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and the picturesque Cotswolds area to the south. Althorp House (Lady Diana's family home) and Silverstone to the east, and Rugby, the birthplace of Rugby Football and with a mainline train station to London Euston (55 mins) to the west.
