Magherafelt town has excellent shopping and banking facilities plus many award winning pubs and restaurants. An old market town, Magherafelt always has a buzz which makes it so easy to spend a few hours just wandering around. In addition, Magherafelt plays host to a series of festivals throughout the year e.g. hill walking and folk festivals. The Glens of Antrim while slightly further way is well worth a visit. With a great variety of walks for all levels is without doubt a real gem.
