Castle Buildings is located in the heart of Belfast on Castle Place. Named Castle Buildings due to the site being the original location of Belfast Castle, the current building was built in 1905 to become the home of C. McCullagh and Co., silk merchant and milliners. The original C McCullagh and Co. signage is still visible across the front of the building. The building's exterior showcases perhaps Ireland's best example of art nouveau architecture. Great lengths were taken when refurbishing the building to protect the exterior features. Despite the historical exterior, the inside of Castle Buildings boasts nine modern and spacious apartments that are luxuriously furnished. Each apartment offers an excellent view of the bustling Castle Place below. Enjoy your morning coffee whilst watching the busy Belfast streets below. The building's excellent soundproofing means you can enjoy the view without worrying about being disturbed.
