Our Cottages are perfect for either a holiday in the area or for business travel - and whether a short or long stay. All three Cottages are next to each other, and we can arrange for them all to be accessible from the backs of the Cottages if at least two are booked by the same party of guests for the same dates. For longer stays we can offer full on-site Laundry facilities, and there will also be weekly Housekeeping visits with cleaning, bed-changing and fresh towels, etc. Corner Cottage and Flint Cottage are both single-storey with no steps or stairs and level floors throughout. All ground floor accommodation.
We offer a warm welcome to guests from both the UK and Overseas. One of us will meet you on your Arrival to make sure you’ve arrived safely and have everything you need at the Cottage you’ve booked. We are off-site but will be available during your stay should you have any queries, need help with anything, or would just like personal recommendations of places to visit or eat.
All three Holiday Cottages are next to each other in a quiet residential street in the centre of this friendly little Market Town. You will be just 500 metres (5 mins walk - or less) from the High Street - with interesting shops to browse, supermarkets for all groceries, plus traditional pubs, quaint cafes and award-winning restaurants. The two supermarkets - Tesco & Waitrose - both open 7 days a week, and late into the evening (except Sundays). Saxmundham also has its own Museum, and Historical Walking Trail. The Railway Station is 250 metres (2 mins walk) from the Holiday Cottages. There is no train noise at the Cottages. Bus routes to nearby towns & villages pick up at the Railway Station, and Taxis can be booked from there too.
