Built in the 1930's as a croft and renovated in the 1990's, it offers a basic accomodation for those looking for an affordable base to explore the island. The house has two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs public rooms, plus a kitchen and bathroom. Original crofting tools are displayed in the hallway. This is a basic, no frills property. There is no Wi-Fi, guests must bring their own bed sheets, pillowcases and towels. Electricty is charged separately based on meter readings. A security deposit is required with the balance returned after electricity costs are deducted.
