Croft 43 is situated in the quiet village of South Dell, Ness which is at the North end of Lewis. It is ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas which boast of stunning white beaches, dramatic coastlines, wildlife, archeology and the awe inspiring Butt of Lewis lighthouse.
Prior to arrival we send our guests a Welcome Pack which includes information about the area, contact numbers for nearest services etc. We are happy for guest to contact us should they have any further queries.
South Dell is one of many villages in the area of Ness which is a 25 mile drive from the main town of Stornoway. There is plenty to do in the area - Eoropie Dunes Play Park, Spors Nis Leisure Centre, Buth Lisa Arts and Gift Shop, Cross Stores and Swainbost Filling Station general stores, Old Barn Bar at Cross Inn and Borve House Hotel. It is recommended that guests either bring their own car or hire a car to enable them to have the full experience of exploring the island however they can book a private excursion or use the local bus service.
