Crossing Cottage a lovely open plan dining kitchen opening via huge bi-fold doors onto a private patio with stunning views of the countryside. A cosy sitting room with all home comforts and an log burner. lots of space and wifi, Crossing Cottage makes a great base for a family break or work project. The property has 3 ensuite bedrooms , a twin room and 2 king size rooms which can be made into twin rooms. Situated alongside the active railway line, the property does have the occasional horn as it passes the front gate.

Crossing Cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Staythorpe, The area is ideal for walking and cycling with many marked footpaths and bridleways including the Trent Way. In the nearby villages and towns there are golf courses, leisure centres with swimming pools and a full range of sporting activities, horse riding and boat trips along the river. Southwell Racecourse with its all weather track hosts racing across the year. There are a range of family activity/attractions within a radius of ten miles There are shops and supermarkets in Southwell (Co-op) and the larger town of Newark (Asda, Waitrose, Aldi ) The market town of Newark on Trent just 5 miles away, has three bustling market days per week, set in the magnificent Georgian market square. The Riverside Park and Castle hold many events throughout the summer and visitors can watch an array of boats passing through the locks while walking along the riverside pathways.
