We the hosts are a family of 4 with 2 children. My husband and I were both brought up in Orkney, and have lived in Orkney all of our lives. I am from Stromness and my Husband Steven is from Kirkwall. I work for Orkney Islands Council in A Local Primary school and Steven works with a Local building firm. Enegar hosts stunning accommodation situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Stromness with beautiful views out onto the surrounding county side and across the Pentland Firth. Within a short distance you will find lots of lovely local amenities around including Co-op supermarket, E Flett’s butcher, Argos Bakery, Flori Coffee Shop, Eateries, gift shops and the local pharmacy. The Stagecoach Bus Stop and Northlink travel centre can also be found within the town centre. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Double bed & Single bed, Bedroom 2: Twin room: 2 Single beds. A large shower room/toilet and fully equipped kitchenette are on the lower floor along with bedroom 1. The living room is up the stairs with a designated table and chairs for eating along with a cleaning cupboard and bedroom 2. Enjoy all the outstanding scenery and views that Enegar Accommodation has to offer. The sunrise and sunsets from the upstairs sitting room are breathtaking, the north of Scotland can also be seen when visible on a clear Bonney day. If you enjoy walks you will be in your element here with walks aplenty. The walk along the shore so an absolute favourite of ours and is so refreshing! ..and on a lucky day you may be so lucky to witness some wildlife passing through in the sea! Quiet country location A Car would be essential for getting around and seeing the historic attractions that Orkney has to offer. We are surrounded by fantastic walking routes as well as being just ten mins walk from the warbeth shore or into the town centre, it’s in an ideal location! Stromness is located only 6 miles from Maeshowe and the standing stones of Stenness, and 8 miles from the Ring of Brodgar. Kirkwall airport is 19 miles from the property.
