Relax and enjoy a tranquil break at this unique getaway with fantastic open views of the countryside, perfect for wildlife watching, particularly the birds and hares. Evas Howe Lodge has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a full kitchen including dishwasher, a large shower and bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Panoramic views over to the hills of Hoy and the Loch of Harray it's the perfect spot to stop and relax. The property is served partially by renewables and soon will be 100% off grid.
I teach yoga locally and online, we are bee keepers with 4 hives on our croft. I am a keen gardener with an interest in wild flowers and the environment.
Set in a countryside location but only 10 minutes walk from the village of Dounby. It has a small supermarket, fuel station, pharmacy, post office and a wonderful craft shop. The property overlooks fields which are used as a breeding ground for birds, hares and Orkney voles. It's an ideal spot for keen bird watchers. It is only 4 miles to the World Heritage Site which includes the Ring of Brodgar, the Stones of Stenness, the archeological dig at the Ness of Brodgar, Maeshowe and the neolithic village of Skara Brae.
