The kitchen overlooks the rear garden where you can see a variety of visiting wildlife, red squirrels and woodpeckers are common visitors. From this elevated position you can see Bassenthwaite Lake with panoramic views of the surrounding fells and over to the West, some spectacular sunsets. Many grades of walking direct from the door, from gentle woodland and meadow walks to the more strenuous heights of Skiddaw.
