Ideally located just a short drive from the Imperial War Museum Duxford, as well as Saffron Walden and Royston, the suite offers a peaceful base with easy access to Cambridge and the surrounding countryside. Hi, we’re Alex and Paul, and we’ve lived in Heydon for over 10 years with strong local knowledge of the area. We’ve set up the guest suite to offer a comfortable and independent stay, while being on hand if needed. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, with self check-in and no shared spaces. We’re happy to share local recommendations, from nearby pubs and walks to places to visit around Cambridge, Duxford and the surrounding area. We aim to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Heydon is a picturesque conservation village known for its historic buildings and peaceful setting, making it an ideal base for a relaxing stay. The Imperial War Museum Duxford is just a 5-minute drive away, with Saffron Walden and the English Heritage Audley End House and Gardens nearby. The historic city of Cambridge is around 20–25 minutes by car. For travel further afield, rail connections to London are available from Audley End and Royston, both within easy reach, and London Stansted Airport is approximately 25 minutes away. Guests can also enjoy local walks, cycling routes and nearby pubs, all within easy reach of the suite.
