John and Anne-Marie welcome you to Highfield Farm, a 300 acre working arable farm. We offer friendly, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. We have safe parking, a quiet location, free Wi-Fi on your own laptop (within Sunnyside), flat screen TVs with Free view, top quality beds and linens, some ground floor rooms, credit cards taken and VAT registered. All of our rooms are en-suite with extra little touches, hospitality trays with home-made biscuits, top quality beds and linens, luxurious duck and goose down duvet, ‘White Company’ toiletries, Free-view television and hair dryer in each room. Sunnyside has a mixture of ground floor and first floor rooms. So whether your stay with us is for business or pleasure, a brief one-night stop or staying for a few days, we aim to make your visit a relaxing and pleasurable experience.

We offer friendly, comfortable self catering and bed and breakfast accommodation with the advantage of having easy access to and A1, A14 and M1. * 2 minutes from Sandy * 7 minutes from Biggleswade and the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, * 10 minutes from Bedford, * 40 minutes from Milton Keynes, Duxford and Cambridge * 50 minutes from Kings Cross London from Sandy station. The Twinwoods festival is @35 minutes away. Woburn Abbey and safari park is @30 minutes away. Bedford was the home of John Bunyan and Moot Hall in Elstow is well worth a visit. .Jordans Mill is a 10 minute drive and as well as tours around the mill there is also a lovely cafe with outside decking overlooking the river (scones are excellent!)

Take the A1 road towards London, notice A1/A421 roundabout; stay on A1, the entrance to Highfield Farm is exactly 2.5 miles on the left, directly from the A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign.

Directions - North Bound:

Take the A1 Road towards ‘The North’, notice at Sandy roundabout the A603 (to left) towards Bedford but stay on A1, after about 1.5 miles, having passed a filling station, leave A1 to the left for Blunham, then immediately turn right to access a new bridge over A1. Do a u-turn over A1 and rejoin the A1 towards London and Sandy, Highfield Farm is 300 yards on the left, directly from A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign.
