I was fortunate to grow up in the Lake District where my parents were successful publicans offering good old fashioned hospitality. After many years in Financial Services as a Broker Consultant living in Scotland and London I moved into property in the late 90's and started to establish a property portfolio whilst holding a position of Operations Director of an International property group, creating my appetite for refurbishments and interior design. Home is now Shropshire where my husband and I raised our two children, two dogs and countless bantams. The things I couldn't live without are; my family and friendships, music, yoga, travel and a good nights' sleep. Today I combine my journey and passion to create practical and thoughtfully designed homes, which now includes accommodation for the discerning guest.

The ancient market town of Bridgnorth sits high on a sandstone cliff with spectacular views of the Severn valley. It is geographically divided into High Town and Low Town linked by several sets of historic steps and the famous cliff railway, the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain. The Low Town was once a thriving port along the banks of the River Severn, while the High Town held the castle, churches, and many fine 16th and 17th century mansions. The more energetic amongst you can amble up one of the seven sets of steps, or the steep old Cartway, where goods were once hauled to the market above, the carts are gone, but the markets remain. The bustling town is filled with antiques, local produce and independent speciality shops as well as offering an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, leisure facilities, supermarkets and take aways. Bridgnorth Castle sits nearby an iron footbridge which takes you to the Severn Valley Railway Station, if you want to explore the beautiful Severn Gorge, you can do so by steam train and explore the wonderful 1940’s and 1960’s on the steam nostalgia weekends.
