Katie’s Cottage Bellaghy is a rare circa 1820 Grade B+ listed one and a half storey thatched cottage fully restored and renovated to a very high standard in 2016/2017. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The ground floor consists of an entrance hall, kitchen/diner with seating area and wood burning stove, utility room with washer/dryer, living room with open fire, a double and single bedroom with open fires and a small wet room with electric shower. The living room is the hub of the cottage off which the rest of the cottage flows. The stairs are located to the rear of the living room fireplace leading to a spacious landing with a small open gallery perfect for a quiet reading area. There are two double bedrooms one with ensuite and a separate bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage is flooded with natural daylight making it a beautiful and relaxing environment. There are lawns and flower beds at the front of the cottage and ample private parking in the spacious back courtyard. Located in Mid Ulster on the main Deerpark Road 0.6miles from the village of Bellaghy and 0.7miles from Seamus Heaney Homeplace, Katie's Cottage is ideally placed to explore all that Northern Ireland has to offer on your next 'Giant Adventure'
