Keepers Cottage consists of a single-storey layout with three bedrooms, including a double, a single with basin, and a further single, along with a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. There is a kitchen/diner with TV and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Amenities include gas oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, along with oil central heating. Fuel, power, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent, as well as bed linen and towels. Outside, there is off-road parking for 2 cars and a front gravel garden with furniture. Two well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not permitted. The Aberdeenshire village of New Deer is situated in the valley of Deer in North East Scotland. The village is home to a number of amenities including a shop, a pub, butchers, seasonal café, doctors, Post Office, a delicatessen and a church. Twelve miles away is the small town of Turriff, which is situated on the bend of the River Deveron and is surrounded by lovely countryside. Turriff itself is a thriving community with a shopping centre and good services, including a swimming pool and sports centre, plus two miles from the town is Delgatiie Castle, which is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland. The Glendronach Distillery and visitors centre, one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries is close by, so why not take a guided tour and sample a wee dram! With the city of Aberdeen and the coast a short drive away makes New Deer an ideal base for a varied holiday.
