Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Welcome to our home. We come to Llanidloes to visit a friend and fell in love with the town, the people, the walks, the pubs everything. In a few years time this will become our forever home. But for now we invite you to fall in love with everything we did. Our character 2 bed cottage with a patio over the River Severn is a great place to unwind. Sit on the patio enjoying the view or snuggle on the sofa it's up to you. Main bedroom on the middle floor has a king size bed. Also a fold out chair bed. The top floor accessed by a open stair way in the main bedroom has a single day bed and a trundle bed that comes out. Top bedroom has a sky light and fan. The stairway up has an open bookshelf that we have stocked with books to help you plan your adventures and some books to read. Please use and return. We have a right of way outside our back door so our lovely neighbours can take there bins to the front. As such we do ask you keep to our clear area and keep noise down. They are lovely people we do not want to upset them. We also ask that you do not let your dogs use the patio area as a loo. There is direct access across to the park from the front and back doors. We are right next to it. We have poo bags for your use next to the front door and there is a bin about 6m from the front door. Parking is in the local car park which is free. You can see this from our front door. Quiet no though road so no traffic at the front of the property and the river at the back.
We fell in love with Llani and in particular Kingfisher Cottage because it allows us access to all the things we love. We take our pets so we encourage you to bring yours. Our ideal holiday involves relaxing, a good walk / adventure at least once a day. And good pubs, restaurants close by. Pubs and eating places 1.5 to 2 minutes walk from the front door. A lovely huge raised patio to sit on and enjoy the peace of the river with a coffee or glass of wine (because the patio is raised we do not recommend kingfisher as suitable for under 5's). Bliss so come enjoy our space and fall in love with the beautiful llani. We bring Fern and Louis the cat most places with us so we invite you to do the same with your pets. There is just a small charge to cover the extra cleaning. As we do allow pet's whilst a full clean is done each time if you are at all allergic please let us know at point of booking. Whilst we think it's great for families (we've had our own here) it's not really suitable for large groups of adults. It's a cute little cottage with one bathroom. As always please check out the pictures of the beds etc to make sure this is the right stay for you. When booking I get a prompt that I confirm. Please check your emails after a couple of hours to click on the booking confirmation
On a no through road. So no traffic outside the front of house. River at the back. Council car park about 20 yards from front door with free parking. Lovely neighbours so if we can keep them happy by keeping excess noise to a minimum. As the patio has a right of way at the back we ask that everyone 2 feet or 4 paws keeps to our property. At the bottom of the raised patio is a set of rocks. The locals use these as a launch for wild swimming. There are 2 swimming towels in the property should you choose to join them on a warm day. From the patio enjoy the peace watch the birds.. Of course the kingfisher that we named our home after we saw one on the first day we stayed. But so many others Also we have heard from the swimmers otters can be seen. ( not spotted them ourselves yet but do let us know if you do) There may be the option for an early check in or late check out (latest check out mid day, earliest check in 2pm) depending on previous / next guests. Feel free to ask usually at an extra c ost of ten pound per hour.
