3 Knocknaha Cottage is set in rolling countryside, just a mere 6 minute drive from Campbeltown. The views are out towards Machrihanish and beyond to Paps Of Jura and Islay. Amazing sunsets can be experienced from the cottage windows. The cottage is well equipped and is cosy and home from home. There is a parking area outside the cottage and a picnic bench and seating provided. The 2 bedrooms on upper level are spacious with a double bed, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror and unit mirror- SLEEPS MAX 4 persons. The living area has a multi fuel burner to keep you cosy and warm. There is a soft furnishings, a sofa, comfy chair, and a dining room table and chairs. There is a smart TV in the lounge with BT TV, amazon prime, Blu-Ray DVD player. New kitchen installed March 2021 and has a Dolce Gusto coffee maker with a few pods to welcome you, washing machine,fridge freezer, cooker/grill, toaster, microwave, water filter, kettle and all crockery and utensils for your stay. Tea, coffee and sugar provided and a host of condiments. The bathroom is on the lower ground floor with walk in shower, sink and toilet. There is electric heating throughout the cottage and the LPG heats the water only from January 2026. The cottage is dog friendly only due to family members having an allergy to cats. Smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms installed for your safety. Machrihanish, Machrihanish Dunes, Dunaverty golf courses close by and Carradale golf course is 16 miles away. There is towels and bed linen provided for your stay.

I currently live in the Loch Lomond area. I enjoy outdoor activities such as golf, walking/hiking and cycling, and I spend my time relaxing in the Kintyre area with my dog Barney to soak up the peace and tranquility of the area. I will endeavour to answer all your questions, and will always be available by phone/txt/email during your stay. My family live next door to the cottage and I visit often so will say hello. 3 Knocknaha is one of 4 cottages set in a peaceful location a mere 6 minute drive from the main town. SLEEPS MAX 4 persons. It is set in rolling countryside with views out the front towards the Paps of Jura and Islay. Amazing sunsets can be viewed from the cottage windows. Directions to 3 Knocknaha Cottage PA28 6PH from Campbeltown head towards Machrihanish on the B843. At Stewarton turn left towards Southend B842 and travel 1 mile. You will pass a telephone box on your left, turn next left at Knocknaha Farm sign and take sharp right after the red postbox. 3 Knocknaha Cottage is the 3rd along the lane. There are plenty of beaches around and all dog friendly. There is a bus stop outside the front of the cottage with connections to Campbeltown, Machrihanish and Southend. To the front of the cottage there is a walk for your dogs down Balloch Road. Also to the rear of the cottage is a walk up a country lane past Kilchrist Castle. Please keep dogs on lead when sheep are lambing. There is also cattle in the fields. Famous Machrihanish Golf course is a short drive away as are Dunaverty and Carradale Golf courses.
