The restoration of Kinlochmoidart House was conducted between 1988 and 1996 and its success was due not only to the many dedicated experts who worked on the House in this period but above all to the outstanding energy and direction of Nino Stewart, pictured here, who frequently acted a foreman while simultaneously catering for a large and fluctuating workforce. Leiper is a spacious 5 bedroom apartment, with 2 doubles, 2 twins and a single, converted from the main kitchen and service wing of Kinlochmoidart House; it retains many original features and boasts a large and light first floor drawing room with open fire. This is the perfect space for family gatherings and celebrations.

The scenery is spectacular, and the area offers much in the way of walking, beaches and fun days out, while the Estate itself provides a peaceful base and characterful backdrop. There are several pubs, cafes and restaurants within a few miles, as well as some fine dining within an hour's drive. We recommend that you do a big shop at one of the supermarkets in Fort William on your way to us, however there is a village shop and off-licence at Acharacle 7 miles away, which stocks firewood, gas, basic fishing tackle, stationery, and is also a Post Office.
