Charming Lincoln cottage is privately situated within the gated grounds of Lincoln Holiday retreat often called the best of both worlds or little a gem our returning guests refer to it as lincolns best kept secret Lincoln cottage offers beautifully-furnished accommodation including a well-equipped kitchen, with separate utility, a bright sitting room with wood burner and dining area, along with one bedroom having a double bed. French doors from the kitchen and sitting room lead you onto a large patio with furniture, this is a great spot for alfresco dining and barbecues in the summer sun. Views from Lincoln cottage and gardens overlook the canal and open fields, you can view Historic Lincoln Cathedral, perched on top of the hill. This is spectacular when lit during the evening. The local footpath running along the canal side is ideal for a relaxing stroll whilst enjoying the wildlife. Lincoln cottage is a great little hide away for those wanting take some time out to relax. Enjoy some time in the hot tub, Please note the hot tub room is only for the use of guests staying at Lincoln Holiday Retreat Cottage
The owners live at Lincoln Holiday Retreat. 25 years to build and landscape and care for the surroundings and wild life They have two small dogs at Lincoln Retreat and do allow guests to bring their own dogs, there is a small for this. Dogs are not to be left alone at any time within the accommodation or the grounds. Plus, they must be kept on a lead at all times when walking on the Estate. . Lincoln retreat does not accept liability for any loss, damage or illness to pets. We welcome responsible pet owners, but we politely request that you bring their favourite bedding with you, and do not let them use any use any of the furniture.
Situated at the bottom of a mile-long secluded lane, Lincoln Cottage offers ample walking opportunities with a canal nearby and a network of local footpaths. Avid Bird Watchers can walk 2 minutes from Lincoln Lodge and discover a hidden secret in Lincoln called The Boultham Mere, with over 139 different species of birds all in one place and a bird watching hut to view this fantastic array of wildlife this is heaven for any enthusiast. The elegant city of Lincoln whi is a short four-mile drive away but there is a lovely two-mile walk from the property into the city centre which boasts excellent restaurants and pubs, with its majestic cathedral and castle standing high on the hill this is in clear view from Lincoln Holiday Retreat and looks simply amazing lit up at night. Hartsholme Country Park is across the road just a one mile walk from here. For those interested in aviation heritage, then Lincolnshire with its 22 World War II airfields, memorials and museums is the place to visit.
