This Area is great as a base to go North, South, East and West. Its also a lovely walking and cycling area - even just around the roads (looking at the lovely houses), or at the top of Reigate Hill, The North Downs Way, around Reigate (Priory Park behind the high street is also nice to walk in), Bexhill (the famous cycling circuit). etc! Train stations – Reigate is at the bottom of Reigate hill, on the way into Reigate town. These trains go to Redhill, and Guildford/Reading. Redhill Train station (short drive into Redhill or 30 mins walk) is the main line between Gatwick and London. Reigate – lovely town with lots of lovely restaurants, coffee shops, clothes shops, hairdressers, cinema, takeaways and supermarket etc! Some restaurants to recommend are: Wagamama’s, Giggling Squid (Thai), Labnani (Lebanese), Bills, The Barley Mow (lovely pub just outside Reigate on the way to Dorking), The Dolphin (pub in Betchworth), nice Chinese opposite Reigate train station, Clove (curry) etc. Swimming and Gym - nice leisure center in Redhill. ‘Donyngs’. Cinema – fantastic cinema (although a bit pricey – but a nice experience), is ‘Everyman’ on the one-way system just before you get to Morrisons carpark. Supermarket – Morrisons in Reigate (with carpark), and huge Sainsbury’s in Redhill.
