We live 2-minutes from the property and can be at hand to help with any requirements. This beautiful 17th Century, grade 2 listed cottage was originally 2 separate cottages, now converted in to one detached cottage, keeping all of the original features. This is the most delightful, cosy country cottage - interior designed by the owners with love and attention to detail, immaculately furnished with beautiful vintage furniture and some original 17th Century classics. Boasting a beautiful fireplace, smart tv, games and books, with original wooden beams and a traditional, fully equipped country cottage kitchen and dining area. There are three beautiful bedrooms, two with king-size beds and Egyptian cotton bedding and another with two cute single beds and a hide-away ideal for children and teens. There is a tiny staircase leading to the bedrooms and due to the property being a listed building there are a number of low ceilings and low beams, adding such beautiful character to this typical English Country Cottage. Amazing breakfast served just 3-minutes away at Tulley's Farm and Alexander House Hotel & Spa (where you can pre-book spa days, afternoon tea and dinner) Plenty of shops in East Grinstead and farm shops for locally produced food, ideal for cooking in the cottage or having a BBQ. The perfect country escape, a beautiful cottage furnished immaculately and so welcoming for our guests.

Set in the heart of the rural village of Turners Hill you are close to some really beautiful country walks, a few local pubs within walking distance (we highly recommend The Crown at Turners Hill for home-cooked English food and of course a few drinks! We are currently renovating the back garden, work will only be carried out when we have no guests and will never disturb your stay. You can view the progress in the gallery, we have table & chairs and lounge area with bbq and umbrella available on the patio area. Just a 5-minute drive away, you'll find the historic town of East Grinstead, full of shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema and virtual golf. Nearby attractions are Tulley's Farm (Europe's largest Halloween Scream Park) where they also have The Escape Rooms, a Drive-in Cinema, Sunflower & Tulip Festivals and lots of entertainment! Wakehurst Place (Royal Botanical Gardens), Ardingly Reservoir (Water sports), National Trust - Standen House and Nymans, The Bluebell Railway (book in advance for afternoon tea or dinner on the train) and Kingscote Vineyard (wine tasting, cafe and beautiful walks) are all within a 5-minute drive You certainly won't be stuck for things to do! The Crown Pub in Turners Hill is our favourite traditional English Pub (best home cooked food) Alexander House Hotel & Spa is our favourite for Afternoon Tea & Cocktail bar in the evenings Beautiful Nails & Body Salon, Pound Hill, Crawley (10-minute drive) is owned by me! Definitely try an Elemis facial, massage or nails and pedicure in our double treatment room - we also do kids, teens & men! Tulley's Farm for breakfast - amazing! We are half way between London and the coast! 30-minute to the nearest beach - Brighton 20-minutes to London Gatwick Airport 45-minutes to London Victoria on the train
