A bright and comfortable modern house. Set in a rural yet convenient location in the heart of neolithic Orkney complete with stunning views.
We are Orcadians who enjoy meeting new people and happy to advise on local attractions.
Although we are situated in a rural location there is an Asda Express, pharmacy, post office and craft gift shop in the local village of Dounby, which is a 5 min drive or 20 min leisurely walk. We are also lucky to have a local hotel closeby (The Merkister) serving lunches and dinners using local produce, can be reached 5 mins by car or 20 min leisurely walk. Both Kirkwall or Stromness can be reached in 20 mins by car. We are conveniently located to explore all of the Neolithic sites that Orkney has to offer.
