Nurse’s Cottage offers quiet and comfortable space in Highland’s highest village; a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Cairngorm National Park, Highland distilleries, Historic castles and Royal Deeside. Tomintoul is situated within the Glenlivet Estate and International Dark Sky Park on the Snow Route, just 4 miles from the Lecht Ski Centre. Surrounded by corbetts and munros, accessed by stunning open roads, overlooking the River Avon; Tomintoul offers a village retreat whilst providing excellent community amenities. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, photographers, skiers, anglers…..couples, families, old and young will all find plenty to do, whatever the weather. Well-behaved dogs may stay too!

Between us, we have lived and worked in the Highlands since the late 1980s. We have enjoyed renovating this spacious 3 bedroomed cottage as a quiet space away from the urban bustle and crowds. A covered terrace and safe, enclosed garden offer excellent outdoor space and there is off street parking for 2 cars. We hope to share our love of this magical part of the world by providing guests with a ‘home from home’ during their stay.
