“Located in a private back yard, but you wouldn’t know it. Owners have us plenty of privacy and space to park our car. Owner showed us around the flat to make sure we knew how things worked.”

Oaktree Annex offers our guests detached private accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Your accommodation is presented in neutral colour schemes , with cleanliness and presentation our priority. On suite facility with large modern shower and bathroom fittings. Oaktree Annex is hosted by husband & wife team, Ray & Melanie. We always meet our guests in person on their arrival to introduce the accommodation. We consider our pricing to be very competitive and always look forward to making new acquaintances and friends.
We love our gardening. I am a very keen angler and whilst I fish ,Melanie loves to read.
We are situated on the edge of large rural areas , with attractive small villages very nearby. Lovely walks and miles of quiet country roads are available for cycling. If your thing is fishing, you are spoilt for choice locally and all within a 10 mile radius. I am told there are 22 venues incorporating many dozens of lakes " not fished them all yet". The village of Haxey currently has two public houses, a good Wine and grocery shop , Coop store and another smaller grocery store. All are within easy walking from your accommodation. Haxey is situated Approx 12 miles south west of Scunthorpe, approx 12 miles south east of Doncaster & 12 miles north west of Gainsborough. The lovely small town of Epworth is situated 3 miles from Haxey . Famous for being the birthplace of John & Charles Wesley, founders of Methodism. A small town with many independent shops, cafe's and tea rooms. The Yorkshire Wildlife Park is 25 minutes by car.
