Oldlands Farmhouse
Oldlands Farmhouse is a wonderful 500 year old grade 2 listed property set in beautiful grounds. Opposite the road from the renowned Greyhound pub and 5 minutes from Gatwick Airport (we offer long stay parking at 10 GDP per day after the initial 3 days ; please contact us directly for car parking queries and reservations). Oldlands was originally made by the owner of the iron mine Tinsley Green is famous for before then being owned by the Worshipful Company of Cooks. Rumour has it that Queen Elizabeth The First stopped here to feed her horses on her travels. Since August 2018 it has now been bought by a family who are lovingly restoring it to its former glory.
Welcome to Oldlands, thank you for booking a room with us. We are a 5 minute drive from Gatwick airport, we also offer long stay parking at 10 GDP per day after the initial 3 days ; please contact us directly for car parking queries and reservations. We look forward to seeing you soon. Oldlands is a family owned property and you can often hear the sound of laughter and puppies on the lawn, Please feel free to enjoy the gardens as well. We are very flexible, if you need to arrive earlier/leave later just give us a call and if we don’t have other bookings waiting we’ll always accommodate you. Your room comes with a double bed, if you are bringing children we have a sofa in the lounge area and a foldaway single bed we can add to your room.
