For thousands of years used by nomadic shepherds in Finland offering warmth, shelter and a place to relax and eat after a hard days work on the fields. Your luxury, fully equipped modern day Kota embraces the charm of the original, but with the emphasis on luxury. The cathedral style roof further enhanced with a vintage chandelier, a unique octagonal room with loads of space and luxury accessories to compliment. Slip on your bathrobe and slippers and enjoy your private log burning hot tub on your decking in total seclusion and privacy all set amongst nature's backdrop of trees' and fauna. At night time, you are immersed in the full blackness of the night where you can enjoy an unrivalled view of the stars and moon. A luxury take on a thousand year Kota that does not dissappoint.

On the doorstep of the Cairngorm National Park , our names sake Oxen Craig is the highest ridge on Bennachie mountain. The Cairngorms offer every activity for every level , or maybe over 200 castles to visit, 55 golf courses, 7 distilleries , or 100's of miles on unspoilt beaches all within 30 mins of your lodge. If that's not enough Ballater and Braemar on Royal Deeside is a great day out . In the summer time see a Highland show, or the Lighthouse Museum at Fraserburgh , the Victorian prison at Peterhead or a trip to watch the dolphins at Aberdeen harbour.
