Peedie Cott is a beautiful one bedroom house in the picturesque village of St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, perfect for a couple or an individual visitor. Peedie Cott is within walking distance from the ferry to Scottish mainland and, is also on the main bus route to Kirkwall and Stromness. Peedie Cott has an open plan spacious living area with log burner, and a retro style kitchen from which you can go outside and sit on the deck. Upstairs in the bedroom, is a king size bed and plenty of storage.
We can be available by phone or via email for the duration of your stay.
St Margaret's Hope, South Ronaldsay, offers an array of amenities to cater to your needs, all within 150 metres of the property. You can shop for essentials at The Trading Post and Post Office or, Doull's Shop, enjoy a warm cup of coffee or a cocktail at Robertsons Coffeehouse and Bar, or indulge in exquisite seafood cuisine at The Murray Arms Seafood Restaurant. For those who love outdoor activities, a challenging golf course is just a short walk from Peedie Cott, providing a picturesque setting for a leisurely round of golf. There is also a tennis court and lawn bowls club in the village and you are only a few minutes drive from the Sands Of Wright beach and Hoxa Head Battery.
