Pier 36 open doors in September 1999, our guesthouse followed a few years later. We have enjoyed welcoming guests from all around the globe, and look forward to many more visiting lovely Donaghadee and staying with us. Our bar and restaurant has become an iconic award winning venue, serving great local produce all day every day. Harbour and company our second bar and restaurant in the complex opened in June 2015 giving our guests more choice for dining when staying with us at Pier 36. As a family owned and run business, a family member is never too far away, making it a great homely experience to stay at Pier 36.

Situated shore side in Donaghadee, Pier 36 has a garden and a shared lounge. This 4-star guest house offers a bar and two restaurants. All rooms in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, rooms at Pier 36 also feature complimentary WiFi, and most rooms also boast a sea view. A continental and cooked to order breakfast is available daily at the accommodation. Belfast is 26 km from Pier 36. The nearest airport is George Best Belfast City Airport, 22 km from the property. Most recently Pier 36 has enjoyed being renamed on screen for BBCs Hope Street series as 'The Commodore' Pub in Port Devine.

Neighborhood info

Pier 36 and our self catering property are located close to the entrance for the towns pier. Our guests can expect a quieter stay mid week, and a little livelier at the weekends. We are just a short walk to all the facilities and shops in the town and great coastal walks.
