Situated in the village of Cartmel, Priory Hotel is a newly refurbished hotel with free Wi-Fi. The village, which recently became known as the ‘home to sticky toffee pudding’, is more commonly associated with horse racing. Cartmel Racecourse is just a minute’s walk from the property. Paid parking is available nearby. The six elegantly decorated bedrooms each feature a flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Within the dining room at the Priory Hotel, an all-day breakfast is available. An evening menu using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients is also available. Guests can also enjoy a drink at bar, which is decorated in horse racing memorabilia. From the hotel, L’Enclume, a Michelin-starred restaurant is a 2-minute walk away. Fell Foot Park is a 14-minute journey in the car and Grange Fell Golf Club is less than 2 miles away.
