Cotgrave is a small, quiet town known to be a place for coal miners residences from the Cotgrave Coaliery. There is not much to see, but the mine was converted to a small park, which u can walk or cycle with a small lake and canals. If u have a car, you can park beside the left side of garage #17 or beside my house along this private street. Belvoir Castle and Langar Hall and the airfield are just a few minute drive. You can walk to MANVERS pub with occasional live band, Rose & Crown Restaurant serves very delicious meals. The COTGRAVE MINERS is a pub and often has a live band and often has performances and activities. Cotgrave Leisure Centre with pool and gym is within walking distance as well as Coop and Sainsbury shops and post office. Well-known and cheap SHEPHERDS STONEHOUSE carvery is only 5 minutes' drive from my house that serves breakfast and all-day carvery and pizza.
